About Dr. Pacheco

Dr. Scott Pacheco is a San Francisco Bay Area native, growing up in the south bay. After serving eight years in the US Army, he worked as an operations supervisor and project manager for a high-tech company. While training for a marathon in 2000, Dr. Pacheco started experiencing low back, hip and knee pain. After seeing his MD and not getting any answers, he decided to see a chiropractor. It was explained to him what was wrong and how chiropractic may help. That was the start of a new way of thinking for him, and led to Dr. Pacheco going to Palmer College of Chiropractic and in 2006, Dr. Pacheco graduated and has been helping people ever since.

After graduation, Dr. Pacheco started working in a three doctor office in Danville, CA, where he learned the value of family care and palliative therapy to help the patients get out of pain faster. A year and a half later, Dr. Pacheco went to work for a doctor in Fremont, CA who had offices throughout the East Bay Area with associate doctors managing them. Wanting to learn that model, Dr. Scott stayed for three and a half years running his own satellite clinic in San Lorenzo, CA. During that time, a majority of the cases were personal and sports injuries.

In 2011 Dr. Pacheco opened his own clinic in Oakland,CA with an emphasis in personal injury cases. He continued to expand his knowledge with specialized training dealing with extremity injuries, including hands and feet, helping patients who were suffering from frozen shoulder syndrome, plantar fasciitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and many other conditions.

After two years of commuting from the San Ramon Valley, Dr. Pacheco decided to move closer to home, which led to opening a new office back in Danville, CA, where he practiced for over 5 years.

In the early summer of 2019, Dr. Pacheco closed his office in California and moved to Washington to be closer to family. Symmetria's focus on patient care matched well with Dr. Pacheco's years of experience and values, and in June 2019, he joined their team.

No matter the problem, rest assured that Dr. Pacheco has the skill and training to provide you and your family the best care available.
