What To Expect
Your First Visit at Symmetria: Step-by-Step
- Arrive Early & Check-In
When you arrive, please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. The first 15 minutes are dedicated solely to check-in and completing your paperwork. If you anticipate needing more time, arriving early ensures you won’t feel rushed and can get everything taken care of comfortably. - Paperwork & Setup
Our front desk team will assist you in signing any necessary forms and setting up your new patient profile. If your paperwork wasn’t completed beforehand, they will also take copies of your ID and insurance card to verify your information. - Day 1: Health History Review & Physical Exam
Once checked in, our Case Manager will meet you in the lobby and escort you to the exam room. They’ll review your health history, listen to your concerns, and gather important background information.
A provider will then join you to perform a thorough physical exam, which may include orthopedic assessments, range of motion tests, palpations, and other evaluations—all tailored to your specific needs. - Testing & Imaging
If necessary, we will perform X-rays or additional tests during this visit to gain a comprehensive understanding of your condition. - End of Day 1 & Scheduling Your Follow-up
After your exam and testing, our team will help you schedule your second appointment, called the ROF (Review of Findings). We aim to make this process seamless and take care of the scheduling before you leave. - Day 2: Review of Findings & Personalized Care Plan
On your second visit, our Case Manager will sit down with you and review your exam results, X-ray findings, and the tailored care plan we’ve created for you. They will explain your diagnosis, answer questions, and discuss your treatment options. - Insurance & Financial Discussion
During this visit, we will review your insurance coverage, discuss potential costs, and ensure you have a clear understanding of your treatment plan and financial responsibilities. - Scheduling Your Care & Follow-Ups
Once your care plan is discussed, we’ll help you schedule your initial treatment sessions. In many cases, we can set these up on the same day to get you started quickly.
ONGOING SUPPORT & CHECK-INS

Throughout your treatment, we hold regular check-ins to monitor your progress, make adjustments as needed, and ensure your care remains effective and personalized.
